School ImprovementTeam (SIT)

This is a combined team of parents and school staff. We invite everyone to come because this team takes part in many school-wide decisions. For example, this team contributes to the budget process, curriculum and instruction issues, and makes several decisions that affect the community. They were the committee that spearheaded the Fall Festival, they make the decisions around how and where to spend monies raised through fund raising, and they worked very hard on developing the academic goals for our school improvement plan. They review the data and statistics around student progress and they give their input on how we can improve academic programs. If you feel you don't have voice, or an opportunity to express your thoughts and opinions, this is the place for you. Please contact the school office for more information.
